Here are the steps to delete personal data stored on a website:

  • In Google Chrome, click on the symbol represented by the three vertical dots, located at the top right of your screen,
  • Choose Settings , then Security and privacy ,
  • Click on Site settings then View permissions and data stored on sites.

You then access the list of all the websites, with details of the cookies and the storage space used by each of them. You then have two options:

  • Delete all data from all websites, by clicking on Clear all data ,
  • Delete data from a specific website by pressing the three vertical dots displayed next to the relevant site, then Clear data .

In addition to securing your personal information, sorting the data held by the different sites will also allow you to optimize your storage space. As the example below shows, the accumulation of cookies can quickly penalize your storage capacity.
